Rankings, single-scene breakdowns and contrarian takes recur across completely different series, so the format travels even when the subject does not.
Why do video essays post such large multipliers on small channels?
Essay channels upload slowly, so their baseline is built from a handful of videos and stays low until one argument escapes the fandom. The multiplier is then genuinely large. Check how many qualifying videos the channel has before reading it as repeatable, because a thin baseline exaggerates a single success.
How do I adapt one of these without a copyright claim?
Borrow the question, not the footage. The videos that survive on this list lean on commentary, original artwork, diagrams and narration rather than long clips, which is what keeps them monetized.
