Terms of Service

Last updated: August 8, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Gopherlume LLC (“vidfora”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of vidfora.com and the vidfora application (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

vidfora is a research and productivity tool for YouTube creators. It surfaces publicly available YouTube data as “outlier” research, and provides packaging and creator utilities such as title, tag, hashtag, keyword, description, timestamp, and channel-name helpers, a thumbnail previewer and downloader, and an earnings estimator. Features available to you depend on your plan.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Plans, billing, and subscriptions

vidfora offers a Free plan and paid plans (Plus and Pro), billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Auto-renewal — paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Trials and refunds — any free trial or money-back guarantee is offered on the terms shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe.
  • Cancellation — you can cancel anytime from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period.
  • Price changes — we may change plan prices or features; we will give reasonable notice, and changes apply from your next billing period.
  • Taxes — prices exclude taxes unless stated; you are responsible for any applicable taxes.

4. AI features and credits

Some features use AI and are metered by a monthly credit allotment tied to your plan. Credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. AI output (such as suggested titles or ideas) is generated automatically, may be inaccurate or unoriginal, and is provided for you to review and edit — you are responsible for what you publish.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, resell, redistribute, or build a competing dataset from vidfora’s data or output beyond your own creator use.
  • Circumvent rate limits, plan gates, or any access or usage restriction.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Use the Service to violate any law, infringe others’ rights, or transmit malware or abusive content.
  • Share, resell, or provide access to your account to others outside your organization.

6. Estimates are not guarantees

vidfora’s outlier scores, niche opportunity scores, and earnings estimates (including the money calculator) are informational estimates based on public data and general assumptions. They are not promises of views, performance, revenue, or results. Your results depend on many factors outside our control. Do not rely on these figures as financial, investment, or professional advice.

7. YouTube and third-party content

The Service displays public YouTube data, including video titles, thumbnails, and statistics, which belong to their respective creators and to YouTube. vidfora is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or any creator.

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using vidfora — including the optional feature that connects your own YouTube channel — you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google’s handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can revoke vidfora’s access to your YouTube data at any time from the Subscriber Insights page in the app or via your Google security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Gopherlume LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own creator purposes. You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service and grant us the limited license needed to host and operate it for you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or estimate is accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gopherlume LLC and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gopherlume LLC from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

13. Export controls and sanctions

You may not use the Service if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. economic sanctions administered by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), or if you are listed on any U.S. government restricted-party list, including OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List. By using the Service you represent that none of these apply to you. We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is in breach, and we comply with applicable U.S. export-control and sanctions laws.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in the State of Minnesota, United States have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
